Lycra material always came out in the form of core spun yarn, wrapped yarns, covering silk or bare silk. Core spun yarn, wrapped yarns and covering silk have the good appearance with good flexibility. Therefore, these materials are widely used in much kind of textile fabrics.

And Lycra bare silk has good dyeing properties and esculent. It is always used in making knitted underwear, socks mouth, bandages, sportswear, etc. As Lycra turn variable-length thinning when stretching, using this material to make products such as nude hose can make it more attractive.

Lycra fiber is an extinction white, translucent or transparent filament. The fineness is 11 dtex – 1880 dtex. To keep your LATEX CLOTHING in good condition you must ensure that it is handled with great care. Latex can be kept for many years in good condition, to help you understand how to look after you purchase we have listed below some helpful hints.

1). Latex will tear very easily if it is pulled or snagged on anything, long fingernails can be very hazardous.

2). Always use plenty of talc on the inside of the garment to assist pulling on, be careful at this stage with long
fingernails.

3). Latex can be affected by, Perfume, Body sprays and Body oils, try to avoid these coming into contact with
the garment, Also many forms of liquid can affect the surface finish of Latex, be very careful when leaning
against a wet bar top etc.

4). Light coloured Latex can stain very easily, a chemical reaction can occur when Latex comes into contact
with Copper or Copper Deposits, try to avoid handling coins.

5). The outer surface of latex can be polished using a water based polish, (Silicone is NOT recommended).

6). When removing your garments turn it inside out and if necessary wipe it over with a damp cloth, the
garment must then be thoroughly dried and talced on the inside. Do not use water on the outside surface as
this can affect the finish of the latex.

7). When storing your garment hang in a cool dry place, covered by a Black bin liner, this will prevent light
from causing the latex to bloom.

8). The next time you wear your garment put more talc on the inside and if required polish the outside surface.

Following these instructions should ensure that your garment lasts for many years, however Latex is a natural product and does wear very quickly particularly at stress points such as elbows, knees and seat, especially when the garment is tight fitting.

Deal with tears or damages: If the garment tear or become damaged in any way, do not attempt to wear or repair it. Have it professionally repaired. Following these guidelines will help your latex stay in tip-top condition giving you many years of pleasure. Complaints will only be entertained if you have adhered strictly to the above instructions. When dealing with latex, a small tear can very quickly become a large one.  Don’t despair if your latex begins to tear!  As long as you repair the rip when it is small the garment will still be usable. To patch a tear in your latex garment, you will need the following items: rubber cement, a medium grain sand paper, rubbing alcohol, and a small latex or rubber patch. First clean both surfaces that you are going to glue together with the rubbing alcohol (If there is STP’s Son Of a Gun, or another rubber conditioner, residue on the surfaces you wish to glue, prolong emersion in soapy water may be necessary to clean the latex). Your next step is to lightly buff both surfaces with the sand paper.  This will enhance the strength of the bond. You’re ready to apply the glue!  The latex will curl up, but don’t worry, it will gradually uncurl as it begins to dry (you might have to help it uncurl if the latex has stuck to itself).  For this reason, it is better to glue a small part of the patch at time, rather than the whole thing at once.  When the glue is still tacky, but not wet, you want to press the two surfaces together.  Run your fingers down the seam, or roll a pen or other cylindrical object down the seam to remove all the air.  Let your latex dry for a couple hours (overnight if possible) before testing the patch. This procedure may take a couple tries to work, but be patient and keep trying.  Contact Nimue if you have any questions or need more help.
